Coins.ph, one of the country’s leading crypto wallet and exchange platform, has announced that it has been awarded the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for management, maintenance and operations of its crypto exchange platform, Coins Pro, and its payment e-wallet services.

Coins was audited and certified by DNV Business Assurance UK Limited on a variety of security management standards and criteria.

Wei Zhou, CEO of Coins.ph, said the accreditation recognizes the robust information security management system that Coins.ph has implemented to secure its customers’ assets and information, making it the first Philippines-regulated exchange to be verified and upheld to these international standards.

“Ensuring users’ funds and data are secure and upheld to the highest security standards is our utmost priority,” Wei said in a statement.

“We are committed to continuous improvements in cyber security defense for our users in the Philippines and beyond,” he said.
